Craig is a realist artist based in Port Angeles, Washington, where the forests, harbors, and shifting light of the Pacific Northwest shape his work. His art reflects a quiet appreciation for the world around him, influenced by years on the water as an Airedale in the U.S. Navy, summers with his grandparents in Bellingham, and a childhood in the Rocky Mountains.
As a teenager, he studied under watercolorist Pete Peterson, whose guidance shaped his approach to detail and atmosphere. Craig works in acrylic, watercolor, charcoal, and pencil, choosing each medium for the story it helps him tell. His subjects range from coastal landscapes and working waterfronts to wildlife and historical scenes, all rooted in a desire to honor the places and moments that shaped his life.
